IVNKPLNG Rest in Peace

I'm sorry to say that my brother Kahlil Lowry who is "ClassicGL" and "Ivnkplng" was hit by a car and was killed 10/31/2008 at 1:00am. I will miss him dearly. He loved this board that he put together and all of the people he interacted with. Kahlil will be missed. Love his brother Hasson

I want to thank you for posting this for us and to let you know that Kahlil was a very special person to me. I had just talked with him by private message right before this happened. I am the co administrator for his board and my heart is broken. Please know that my prayers are with you.

I was shocked when I received the horrible news that IVN had died.

We may have disagreed on some things but I still respected Ivn's work and dedication to Guiding Light.

RIP IVN

I am praying for your family in this time of sorrow.

I too was SHOCKED to read that Kahlil had been killed Friday night! I had looked at about half of his latest clipset just that evening at around 12:40 EST and checked in Saturday morning to view the rest before leaving town for the weekend. I of course did not know your brother personally, but did email him a few times to compliment his fine efforts on the board. He very kindly responded his thanks. I feel as if I have lost a friend. :( My sincere condolances go out to you and your family in this terrible time.

Sending love and every healing thought to those who were close to Kahlil. I only knew him through this site, but am terribly sorry to hear of this tragic loss. May he rest in peace, and may his friends and family find peace as well.

Kahlil will be missed. He touched the lives of thousands of people everyday through his Guiding Light Memory Project. We will miss his insightful and sometimes controversial comments on the ongoing story that he loved so much. Kahlil had a way of getting to know all of the people who posted on the message board associated with this site. He touched my heart, and I miss him deeply.
